We have also re-entered our envolvement with solar harvesting technology systems. We began this envolvement back in 1978 with the Wabash Valley’s first solar installation. More information can be found on our website www.paitson.com.

In the 32 years I’ve been involved in the heating and air-conditioning business, I have never seen as much incentive to upgrade your heating and air-conditioning systems.
These times are unprecedented. Between the manufacturers rebates, federal tax credits, state tax rebates and utility company rebates you can get up to a third of the cost of a new heating and cooling system paid for. This can amount to up to $4000 in savings immediately.
In addition, the increases in efficiency that we have seen the equipment manufacturers attain has been dramatic. You can cut your energy consumption by over 40%. In almost every case the return on investment would be under five years which is 20% per year. In these economic times a 20% return on investment is fantastic, and the savings continue year after year after year. It is important for us to realize that not only are we saving money and reducing operating costs for ourselves, but we are doing our part to reduce this nation’s energy consumption as a whole. Americans gobble up more energy per capita than any other nation on the planet. It is our duty and responsibility to do all we can to act responsibly as we go forward in this new decade.
Technology is changing so fast. We are now at the forefront of technology that can make our lives easier. New advances has made its way into the heating industry too. Your furnace or air conditioner can now contact us and let us know if there’s a problem without you doing a thing. The day will soon be here when we contact YOU to schedule a time when we can come out and fix your unit that you didn’t even know had a problem. When a service tech arrives at your home he will already know what the problem is and what to do to fix it.
At the same time there’s been great advances in solar technology the cost of solar cells is rapidly decreasing and the government incentives finally make solar technologies viable and affordable.
Lennox, the manufacture we have been teamed up with for 88 years has developed technology to enable your heating and cooling system to be powered by solar energy. They are the only manufacture to do this and the solar cells can be connected directly to the air-conditioner making for a simple installation. Their gas furnaces have also achieved a 98% efficiency rating.
I remember taking my children to EPCOT, the city of the future, and see how technology would change our lives. I believe in a lot of ways the things we dream about can come true because that is what we strive for. Our developments drive in the direction of our desires and a lot of these things are coming to pass.
